Welcome to my page!

Hi! My name is Anna Parel. I am a second-year Graduate Student at the University of Georgia, obtaining a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with a Minor in General Business from The University of Mississippi.

I love taking on new challenges and have always aspired to work in a profession that pushes me to express ideas through written and visual concepts. For as long as I can remember, I have been captivated by telling stories and creating striking content. Not only do I love being creative, I also enjoy research and planning. I take appreciation in research processes and like exploring brands to gather insights. I love organizing marketing strategies or even just planning events. I have discovered that the Journalism and Mass Communications field allows me to take a creative approach through every form of media, while also allowing me to channel my passion for research and strategy.
